Basic Car Control-

Skills Transfers-

Driving at an advanced level, in more complicated environments, using methods from RoadCraft.

The lessons themselves are based on teaching you how to drive, not just for the test but also for life afterwards.

• Advanced Car Control-Using advanced driving methods learn to drive smoothly at high speeds. This is not a Dual Carriageway lesson. It is designed to help you understand how a car will react at speeds above 50mph on country roads.
• Eco-Driving-A lesson based on driving economically. Saving fuel and money. It is also part of the Driving Test now.

We offer a structured training program that will take you from moving off and stopping, right the way through to negotiating small roundabouts. You will also be able to reverse competently in a variety of different and unusual situations. As your reversing improves you can then try your hand at a variety of Skills Tests.

The Theory element of the driving test is also included in the training. This consists of question sheets, small interactive presentations, and practical training sessions.

Would you like to earn £30,000 a year?

No doubt you have seen the adverts on television, or in newspapers, that offer training to become a driving instructor. They usually say that it is a job that you can fit around your life and still earn £30,000 a year. It sounds good and if you speak to the national training providers, then after a short drive to see if you are instructor material, you will find out that your driving is good and you can talk whilst driving.

"You are Driving Instructor material!"

Then the reality kicks in. The promises that you got when you first spoke to the training provider soon disappear, once you hand over your money. I know this as I was one of many Instructors who got caught up in all the promises of loads of work, money, and job flexibility. So I want to make sure that anyone who is thinking of training to become a driving instructor is given the full facts before handing over huge amounts of cash. Infact it is only the national training providers who require full payment upfront.

The session lasts no more than 90 minutes and aims to save you fuel and money. Tests have shown that just a few minor changes in how you drive can save you as much as 15% in fuel costs, without reducing the top speed.
